A group of 36 officers of the South Sudan National Police Service (SSNPS), the last of a total of nearly 150, completed an eight-week training course in Livestock Patrol Tactics conducted by the UN mission (UNMISS)’s Kenyan police contingent. The effect of cattle raiding on local communities continues to be a problem in South Sudan.
